AGC Education Foundation aims to serve as the education clearinghouse for the construction industry in Washington, so that we can all receive training and education about careers, best practices and legal requirements in our business. Class Registration
REGISTRATION/CANCELLATION POLICY
There is a $25.00 cancellation fee for all class registrations. The customer has one week (5 business days) prior to the start date of the selected class to cancel the registration, transfer or to interchange attendees. To clarify, if the class is on Tuesday, you must cancel by the Monday of the week before the class. If cancellation occurs within one week of the class (5 business days or less), the customer must replace the canceled registrant or forfeit the registration fee. All funds must be paid before the first day of any given class in order to guarantee class placement, otherwise the class will be filled with wait-list participants.

E-Mail Writing That Counts!
Do you stare at the screen trying to get organized and start writing? Do you compose e-mails that later make you cringe?  Do you find that you waste too much time responding to e-mails? If so, this workshop will provide tips and techniques to:

  • Write with clarity by eliminating passive voice, long sentences, jargon, redundancies
  • Utilize your topic sentence and subject line as the foundation of your message
  • Make your message easily accessible with easy-to-read, eye-appealing layouts
  • Review the rules of e-mail etiquette that create a professional image
